she has every right to be angry, and considering he is the one who keeps putting them in these situations (not that he's necessarily to blame. but like. they left home because of him. he told he it was safe. and now she had to bury her son in the ocean. away from home), it feels unfair coming from him. but her anger and need for revenge without an actual plan is genuinely going to get her killed. it's going to ruin her slowly until she is a husk or a corpse. and I really appreciate that he's at least trying to help her. trying to keep her from spiraling out of reach. especially since prior to this he had been permissive of her negative ways of thinking, calming her down while not acknowledging the root and continuing to put her in worse situations that justify her thinking (we see this mostly in the comics). which started digging this hole for her. it's not perfect. I get why she seems angry with him for saying that. but I'm glad that he's trying to have that uncomfortable conversation for her own good. I just hope it can evolve past this into an actually healthy conversation

People forget they BOTH lost a lot of things. Neytiri lost her family, most of it, Jake did too. Lost friends, lost a son, all because he chose the Na'vi way, and she chose him. It's not their fault, it's not Spider's nor Jake's fault. See the real enemy: The RDA and their mercenaries.

Jake is right. He’s spent his entire life in war and discomfort, but he found a way to MAKE himself happy, to MAKE a life for himself, and to protect his family. I understand why Jake tells her that she can’t live in hate because it’s not going to change anything living in hate, it will only being more pain and hate. But she definitely needs to feel that hate she has to in order to live some out of a life. The hate she has will always be there. Sadly that will never go away. She will need to learn to live with the hate but not let it take her life away. But my sweet girl has been through SO much.
