@happyheartssanctuary: FUNDRAISER UPDATE & WARRIOR UPDATE Ally has been cold hosing horses left and right. It’s just too hot, they’re too old and they’ve been here too long. This is a clip of Ally cold hosing Warrior I filmed. He stood so still. His breathing is so much better since Ally started caring for him. You can see where he’s foamy from all the respiration effort he’s had to do from driving in 105 degree weather but she washes his mouth out and cools it. He wants to be so close to her. He knows who and what she is— an Angel. The same way I do. He has bit scars all along his mouth. His bones are sticking out. He’s weak and tired and sore from trotting pavement. His shoes have fallen off and his old owner hasn’t been bothered to replace them so he’s sore and lame. It’s like refusing to replace tires on a car and being shocked you’re having a blowout. The rest of these horses are NOT safe! We cannot break to live feed because of how many need medical attention right now or to be hosed off. This is a dire emergency, CCR. We need to get these last 30+ out and I don’t know if we can go live to do it. It’s just too many horses needing urgent attention. We need you. We need you to share and donate and interact. Right now we have a $100 naming challenge going on. But I’m worried we’re going to lose a horse like Warrior if we don’t pick up the pace on the fundraiser. I have asked a lot of you. Too much I fear. I’m sorry. You guys answer the call every single time. I hate to ask again. But they will die. On a slaughter truck or collapsing of heat exhaustion. But they will die.
