@maryahmalone: I chose to walk down the aisle to Dreams by Priscilla Ahn because it felt like the story of my heart finally finding its peace. I didn’t grow up in a home where love was soft or beautiful. For a long time, I believed love was something to survive, not something that could make you feel free. But then I met him. He was gentle in all the ways I needed, strong in all the ways I didn’t know I craved. He became the dream I never thought I could have, not flashy or loud, but honest, steady, and real. With him, I learned that love could feel like exhaling. Like home. I stood there listening to the words before I walked down. I wanted to listen to & know that younger me would be so proud of who I was that day. By the time I reached the end of the aisle the words “I’m ready now” played and I knew I was ready start a life where love was beautiful. It wasn’t just a wedding aisle, it was the path to the life I always dreamed of but never thought I deserved.
