@its_actually_lex: Cast iron looking a little dusty but not disgusting? This is your go-to “everyday clean,” not a full deep-clean or seasoning situation. I use coarse salt + half a lemon to scrub (glove on because these hands are sensitive, ok??), rinse with hot water, dry it completely, then rub in a little oil. Boom. She’s back to being the main character. No soap, no drama, no rusty regrets. Just a dummy-proof way to keep her pretty in between the big maintenance days. #CastIronCare #LazyGirlCleaning #SensitiveHandsClub #HomesteadLife #KitchenWitchery #CastIronTips #LemonAndSaltMagic #EverydayCleaning #NonToxicCleaning #ModernHomesteading #RootedLiving #FromScratchLife #CozyKitchenVibes #RuralLifeVibes #RustWho #CastIronHack #PanRescue #HomemakerThings #CottageCoreKitchen
Omg I was always taught to scrub it with aluminum foil at least to re-season but I am 100% trying this because it probably won’t ever need to be re-seasoned again if I clean it this way!!🤩
