It had become like the central banking systen of Rome. They were opressing their own people. So Jesus had Rome destroy it. Hows our central bank? Refusing to cut intrest rates? Why? Revelation reveals the order of the end for those with ears to hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. The Son of man came as promised, Matthew 16:28, “Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” He ruled the earth, fulfilling Revelation 20:4, “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them… and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” This was the Millennial Kingdom when the overcomers judged and reigned with the Son of man. When the thousand years ended, the prophecy says, Revelation 20:7-8, “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations… Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle.” This began the little season, a time of darkness and deception after the Light of the world was taken. The saints were slain, gathered under the altar. Revelation 6:9-11, “I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God… and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” The Bride is not on earth but speaks from heaven with the Spirit. Revelation 22:17, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.” In the letters, the Spirit called alone (Rev 2:7), but now the Bride is joined, showing the marriage took place after the saints were received to heaven. Jesus returns after this little season, bringing His Bride, the New Jerusalem. Revelation 21:2-3, “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband… Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men.” Thus Revelation makes clear: first the Son of man came and ruled the Millennial Kingdom, then Satan was loosed for a little season, and only then does Jesus return with His Bride to dwell with men forever. Not true read Rev 7 and Rev 20. Here is Rev 20 read it for yourself and you will know the truth. “Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.
