Lmao I’ve dealt with this I got suspended for a no call no show when I have them dates for my PAID TIME OFF and the manager got the date wrong so I got in trouble and out of money because of his mistake lol

Yep if someone cant cover the manager does. Thats why i declined the management position. Im a single mom i cant just come in when someone calls off. As much as i wanna be a manager, i know its not the job for me rn. Which is a slap in the face, whenever we need the new manager shes at the lake or the casinos and cant come in until her scheduled shift. Hmm.

this is literally how my old boss was. i missed a dear friends wedding across the country because she wouldn't stop trying to negotiate the timeline... she approved the request 6 days before and i could no longer afford the plane ticket.

when I was electrocuted at work I wasn't able to work Wednesday to Friday and on Monday I was on the rota and they said I need to find cover then when I said I can't keep working I'm in pain they said get cover and you can leave 😲😲😲 wtf am I right

One time a manager said I couldn’t call out sick unless I found someone to cover me and sick time is protected in Oregon so I literally sent a text to follow up saying I won’t be in or finding coverage and she tried to write me up and I said my lawyer would love to see the write up and she backed down

i hate how my manager schedules us I will have something important to ask her ill go to her office and she is like im writing the schedule I cant talk right now the schedule is due Monday and its Tuesday and you dont even write it yourself your assistant managers write it for you and they get it done by thursday not only that BUT YOU COPY AND PASTE IT FOR 4 WEEKS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU FINALLY MAKE ANY CHANGES TO IT WHEH YOU WRITE IT YOURSELF yet they get paid the most and they are the laziest pieces of shit I've ever met
