Keep going! 📚 . No one really tells you how lonely nursing school can feel. You spend hours memorizing terms no one outside your program even understands. Yes, your classmates and professors get it… But try explaining to your best friend or your mom the functions of the integumentary system; specifically located in the dermis, on the dorsal side of the body. It’s like you're living in a different world. And it’s weird… because you’re constantly around people, but still feel isolated. You miss birthdays. You cancel plans. You barely reply to texts. Not because you don’t care, but because you’re pouring everything into this dream. But here’s what I’ve realized: Even in the quiet, even in the stress and overwhelm, this journey is mine. And yours is yours. It won’t last forever. One day, we’ll be nurses… and this part will just be a memory. And we’ll look back and laugh and say, “Dang… I kind of miss those days.” So if no one told you today, I’m proud of you.
