ooohh myyy 👀 As someone who works in healthcare compliance, this is a HIPAA violation. I get that some of y’all are saying “Patel is a common name,” but it’s not just about the name combining the doctor’s name, appointment time, and the fact that the person is receiving care can count as PHI. That’s a breach. This could absolutely lead to disciplinary action, termination, and even federal fines depending on the employer and policies…. Whew😮

The point of me posting this is because of her being on live while handling a patient’s appointment. Being on here is not that important. Yet I wouldn’t want someone on social media while taking my information for my appointments or anything

Some of y’all missing the point clearlt. Doesn’t matter if there is so many Dr. Patels, she knew she was wrong which is why she made that face and went on mute. HIPPA or not, her employer may have different rules and regulations. She knew and imagine scrolling on tik tok and seeing this. She couldn’t let anything slip all for some views and if her employer was showed this video or received a complaint yea she could be fired. Like why is you LIVE at work anyway? Smh

Reminds me of the time I was trying out this company for a therapist and they had someone call me for intake and she was driving her man around with me on SPEAKER asking me my personal information, telling me hold on and everything. I hung up on her because girl wtf.

I wasn’t even on live and I made a video in my headset and thought because my background was orange ( the color of the office floor) no symbols were around, didn’t have the computers in the camera, no badge, I was cool. Needless to say my hospital found it. Idk how but they did and I got written up when I came back from vacation. Needless to say, never did it again cuz I was gone get fired.
