this is why I don't accept the argument that the whole American eagle commercial are just a bunch of coincidental accidents, is clearly premeditated, she and her marketing team know EXACTLY what they're doing, she knows how she's perceived and is giving that industry and consumers the reason about being perceived as an object... is sad ...when she said those things about the character of Cassie I truly thought feeling represented like that could be an awakening for her but, she's just turning Cassie in real life 🤷🏽

It’s probably also very important to consider that the average viewer has a tendency of not being able to separate the actor from the role. Case in point Justin Prentice (Bryce on 13 reasons why). And it’s not extremely easy to reinvent yourself (or brand) after a role that’s made such an imprint. I’d add that her choice to exploit the image already painted from Euphoria is indicative of lack of patience and foresight.
