unfortunately it's good marketing and they knew what they were doing. I hate it, but it hits its goal. it's absolutely eugenics propaganda and sexist AF. I work on a global marketing team for a fortune 100 company (AE is 633 in comparison). I'm not just saying this, but my company and team have pretty decent morals as far as a corporation goes. exec leadership won't let us do events in Florida anymore because it's unsafe for trans people... but there's a trend where these companies are marketing topics that they know people on the left will critique and talk about, and the right will buy them as a dog whistle and to own the libs. they're banking on a short term investment and when the political tides trend back to progressive, they'll go full out for PRIDE and hope people forget 🙃 I find it interesting what comments they're keeping and deleting on the posts, but it's on-brand. I commented about eugenics and they kept that up, but they deleted a response comment telling me not to shop there then. why not delete my negative comment too? that tells me they know exactly what they're doing.
