Well, most of the stuff they’re trying to age gate and age verify our stuff that parental controls already blocked. Yes, some of the stuff doesn’t get blocked because it gets seen as fan art or it’s so popular that even age verification and or parental controls and or what not Still let you see it because it’s that popular. Also, this is what we were doing with parental controls when people first started using those by the way. No, I get the point but it’s like a big deal in that we should complain because oh yeah obviously I’m not wanting to send my data to people who can then give it to somebody who wants to unlive me. They’re just doing it to try to find closeted people and queer spaces or two find certain people whose names aren’t specific language name because their parents married into like if you get what I mean so that way it the same thing as then, it’s the same thing like they just wanna be able to hunt us down and put us in spots where they can then monitor us like it’s World War II And I don’t see anything wrong with it. I’m not legally marked as trans by the government because I’m not old enough to have had to do that yet the only 21 because I wanted to wait till I was old enough to make the decision for myself and you know how my mom not be able to say say anything I’m gonna be able to say anything so so like my gender fluid nonbinary identity is at risk of found out and always feels like they’ll forcefully change it for me and put me in a camp somewhere and you know my romantic attraction is on a spectrum where I can hide it but I shouldn’t have to. That’s all this is I just wanna be able to round us up and put us in two boxes that they think we fit when we actually don’t

the problem is that it doesn't help and they're using vague language that very quickly can be used by bad faith actors to easily take advantage of it. I honestly also don't have faith in any politician to actually have the best interest of anyone in mind when making changes such as this as well

what's funny is I have tried to model it after China's WeChat verification, but took none of the actual upsides to it. Central payment for stuff, online ID (seems to act like Google login for Chinese social media and online schools), and a few other things. But it wasn't the only way to login or verify. This is just none of the upsides, with all of the downsides
