Reminds me of when my father got outed of the house by police for private reasons and they thought my mom was an accomplice so I had to act like her personal lawyer when talking to the adults who kept asking questions about my mom being bad (For some reason they were sure she was a bad mom)I spent a whole hour praising her because I know damn well these adults can't be trusted and if I ever said things like 'She yelled at me once' I wouldn't be at home anymore
