@everyday_alchemy: These are just a few of the plants and herbs I’ve been spotting on my walks lately here in Southwest Florida. I’m making an effort to really get to know the local herbs around me…which is different from where I grew up in New York. Many of the herbs commonly used in modern herbal medicine grow in regions quite far from here, like the Northeast or Midwest. So learning the plants that thrive where I live now feels both grounding and essential.
