PLEASE watch her every breath and his every movement if they're going to be doing this. Ideally, he should only hold her while he's awake and making sure she's in a safe position. Too many tired parents have killed their babies sleeping in chairs or couches (or beds).

My husband could have just walked in the door after a 24 hour shift. His first instinct is to palm away kids, dogs and every other thing in life just to give me a kiss and cuddle (then kisses my belly as I am pregnant) then focuses on the kids and dogs. The fact that nothing gets in the way of him creating time for me gets me every time. Then to see him sleep like this with our 7 month old.
