@pasttenseofdraw.mp3: I have a couple theories, my main one being that it could have something to do with my paraduodenal hernia repair? I need to ask my surgeon if I had a left or right paraduodenal hernia, left is more common (75%) and I had been assuming it was probably that one, but if it was right (25%) it could had been propping open my SMA angle, I don’t feel like I can see that on my imaging but it can also move in and out of the space. But theoretically fixing that could mean my SMA angle could be narrower and causing more bile to back up and damage my stomach+esophagus. Or it could just be something about where my intestines are at now, or they’re just mad at being moved around and poked at??? I also saw that sedatives can worsen reflux, I started trazadone between those two endoscopies, but that doesn’t explain the inflammation in the one during my surgery or the inflammation in my stomach+duodenum this time. Other meds I’ve started are an inhaler and aprepitant? Also it’s hypothetically possible I could have celiac disease that didn’t show up on previous testing bc I was probably eating more gluten the month before this bc I was out of town? I also wouldn’t be surprised if my esophagus was a little worse bc I wasn’t sleeping at as much of an incline, but that looks a lot worse? It also could be crohns or some other immune mediated issue but idk why that would just pop up now, and from what I’ve read online I don’t think it rly sounds like that.
