You’ve been told to cherish the one God placed in your life — but instead, you continue with chants that your enemies won’t overpower you. Let’s be honest: who exactly is your enemy? Those who built with you? Those who gave you counsel? Or is it your ego, pride, and ingratitude? I recall your lyrics from the year 2000s — “Your father says he’s ahead of you, you too say you’re ahead of him, because everyone will live and bury their aged.” That wasn’t just a line. It was a prayer for the fall of another, masked as a proverb. You wanted to rise by replacing him, not learning from him. Yet, he never cursed you in that manner. He gave you room of opportunity, he gave you grace, as Allah wishes— and you repay him by rewriting history as though you made it alone. You call him irrelevant, but his relevance still covers you. Instead of honoring him, you try to detach your legacy from his. That’s not growth. That’s hypocrisy. Elevation doesn’t come by disrespecting those who went ahead — it comes by building upon their legacy with respect, not rivalry. So no, you don’t have enemies. You are fighting yourself.
