I’ve been aware of the importance of prepping bf painting, but now, as I’m painting the outside of my house, I keep hearing you in my head as I make sure everything is cleaned, scraped, and even sanded. I just want to get on with painting, but then I have “you” reiterating how important it is and somehow cheering me on 😂 There’s no way I’ll risk the black paint comming off to reveal the white and light beige underneath 😱 So thanks for the backup, I guess 🤪

What do you do to seal in or get rid of the old musty smell that’s in drawers of old furniture? I’ve tried a few things over the years but it never did the job. I worked restoring old furniture but we mainly did architectural pieces and when we did do furniture we usually built new pieces out of reclaimed barn wood
