If kittens don't have another cat to play with they never learn how to play fight without actually hurting the other cat. My guess is every once in a while Gary pushes things a little too far and Kurt rightly tells him off! Very healthy developmentally if this is the case

I’m no cat expert but I like cats a lot and am pretty sure that in cats and sometimes lions the kittens will play fight with the parents to learn to hunt so this is a good sign that they are bonding. (I thought of this because Kurt isn’t really fighting back)
