Pine straw is not my fav but it is a southern thing. And am I the only one that watches these videos and then talks like her for the next 2 days? Y’all - I’m 61 and imitating a 26 year old. My hubby probably thinks I’m going bonkers.🤪😂

We live in my childhood home. One day I had guys in the front trimming up our oak trees. Hubby talks to their manager about 2 pines in the back yard. He wants to cut them down. Those had been there since before I was born. He kept telling me that pine is bad for your yard because it's so acidic. Then he started in on that it was dangerous due to fire. Just get you some mulch for the brown.

You will like it while it’s fresh but after it’s rained on a while and the sun is beat on it it starts to get nasty looking and we’ll get mildew under it. I have it and I only like it like the first week.

Pine Straw is gray and I’m a landscaper. You can tuck in the edges with a blower just maybe watch a YouTube video first so you don’t blow them everywhere but they’re good for the plants and they’re cheap and way easier to install.
