elena :
i had to take progesterone once to induce one single period to get my blood work done during it, and i ended up getting it regularly every month ever since, i know it’s not the same case since i didn’t lose it from an ed but don’t focus too much on whether it is a real period or not, maybe your hormones just need a little push like it happened to me!

I think you’re bleeding from HRT because the meds have been enough for you to develop and then shed a lining. That’s a good thing. It may not be the case for everyone. A natural period happens after ovulation. Ovulation likely doesn’t occur in HRT. You’re doing great!

It is a real period. There is birth control and then hormone therapy. Your dosage and medication schedule is being used to induce ovulation. So it IS a real period.

I think I'm not sure, but menopause can have several causes, the most common of which is either stress and pressure that you put on your body (HA) or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and I think that pills do not work in the first case.

hrt isn’t real ovulation which is the goal for normal function :( but feeling good in ur body is important too. as long as ur still prioritizing weight gain i think hrt can be a good band aid ❤️
