We were in the same boat this year! My son is 13 and he out grew all his pants and shoes. No more shopping in the boys section. We usually get lucky at Marshall’s and Tj Maxx. We found some nice cargo pants at Walmart.

Carrot Halwa: - 1kg / 2.2lbs Grated Carrots - 2.5 cups Milk - 1/2 cup sugar or as needed for sweetness - 4-5 Saffron Strands - 3-4 Cardamom - 2 tbsp of ghee for the Halwa or more 😅 - 2 tbsp of milk powder + 1 tbsp to make mawa - 6-7 Almonds sliced + 2tsp ghee for roasting - 6-7 raisins (optional) Method: - Add milk, cardamom, saffron, and carrots to a pot. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the milk has completely absorbed into the carrots and they are cooked through. - If you are using a pressure cooker, one whistle should be enough to soften the carrots. Then, transfer them to a pan and continue the process. - Next, add ghee and sugar, then cook and stir occasionally. Making carrot halwa is truly a labor of love! Have patience it will come together. If at any point you see the halwa is not coming together, add extra ghee. I know it sounds like a lot, but don't be scared! It will taste amazing. - In a separate pan, add 2 teaspoons of ghee along with sliced nuts.
