I honestly don’t know why they bother even creating this ridiculous option. They know it’s far more subjective than even grade inflation and probably won’t even look at it even if submitted

Heyyy, sorry to bother you but I’m a raising senior , and a dual enrollment student been taking college classes since freshman year of hs and will receive my associates degree alongside my hs diploma, a lot of people from my city , ( Philly) seems to not get in the best colleges and I just wanted to see , if you can recommend colleges that would accept students like me , also I have 3.36 currently if you understanding where im coming from ??😭😭

when i applied to st johns college one of the options for the application was something similar (rated by the moderator tho) + an essay and interview. i enjoyed it but i think it works there because of their specific curriculum. imo doesnt make sense at any other school

I fear that their job isn’t to determine if I can hold a conversation properly or not. If I can’t control what comes out of my mouth, I set myself up for failure. Their job is to look at my stats and essay, determining if I’m accepted or not 💔

wait students are going to rank each other?? everyone is just gonna give each other bad scores in order to give themselves leverage… why do these colleges keep putting so much trust into these teenagers who are not fully developed mentally yet, and why do they keep trying to treat them like adults? regardless on how prestigious the school is and regardless on how they appear these children are not going to behave like adults they will get emotional when communicating about debatable topics and they will attempt to rig such an easy system
