My son left at 17 and 4 days after his high school graduation left to the Marines. I hug him every time I get to see him it wasn't easy but I stay strong every day. Proud Marine mom. Stay strong 💪🙏

My son also enlisted at 17, spent his 18th in bootcamp, and by the time he was 18 he was already on his first deployment. He even spent his 19th birthday on deployment. I know exactly how it feels watching them grow up so quickly in uniform. It's tough on a mama's heart.

I have twin boys. One enlisted 30 days before his 17th birthday and graduated basic training last summer. They both graduated highschool this year and one is off at college and the other is at AIT with the Army.
