I don’t understand what is going wrong with the coal industry right now, but it is like everyone is getting laid off of or getting pay cuts. Heck kalep didn’t receive his check for 4 days after they were supposed to and then it ended up being short and they basically told them they get what they get.

I have been doing it for 14 years. In that time I have been laid off several times and I always say I’m going to take the opportunity to start a new career. I actually tried it one time for a few months. Then a good mining job came available and of course I took it . Been back at it ever since.

First Dalton got his Cdl’s, bought a coal truck, and hauled coal, then he sold his truck and is now a diesel mechanic. He misses the coal mines so bad, but he loves working on trucks!

My husband has worked 10 years in the mines. Got laid off back in March. He started his own business carpenter. And he has never been happier. Our whole life is happier. He gets to see ours babies everyday and he is going back to school also. Good luck gilry cause these men are build different and they love the mines more than anything. It’s a life style🖤
