The more I dig, the more I understood. Her blog was barely about the food, it didn’t really treat the cooking process with grace, didn’t have a point, and the whole thing was just whiny navel-gazing. It makes sense Julia had no interest in being associated with it, and it being tied to her legacy now after the movie paints Powell as a victim kind of proves Julia’s point.
