BOF3 (along with the other two entries) don’t necessarily need to be played in order. While they do have things in common (such as characters, Easter eggs, and so on), they’re all self-contained and easy to follow. Also, BOF3 from what I understand is the most developed and it is favored by many JRPG fans. 🤙😁

I totally recommend playing BoF3. Easily one of my favorite jrpgs from the ps1era. The music alone is a big contributor for my love towards video game music. As someone mentioned it’s not required to play other entries of the series to enjoy other than cameos.
