It’s so hard talking to people who are anti Christianity or just atheist because their view on god is based on the BS other "Christians” love to spew. They really ruined our entire image, and they KNOW god doesn’t approve of any of the things they do or say so that makes it worse

This is why I disagree with the salvation through grace alone. By that standard, that means you could commit some of the WORST crimes and STILL get into Heaven.

this is one of the biggest reasons I deconstructed from Christianity. I just couldn't tolerate and stand by the hypocrisy anymore. I'm an agnostic atheist now, but the angry part of me hopes there's a hell for all of them to go to because they've truly wrought evil on this earth.

Same here. I left the religion over a year ago now. However I do still abide by what Jesus tought to the best of my abilities. He may or may not have been god but his teachings are valuable

I’m agnostic, but I’ve read the Bible in multiple versions of the Bible multiple times because I am curious about religion in general because I grew up in a mixed religion household. I personally do not understand how Christianity has been so misinterpreted. Outside of the fact that the average Christian has never read the Bible or they don’t understand the fact that the Bible has been re-translated multiple times or how each translation is slightly altered and what translation does to word. How it alters conversation and information. And this baseline lack of understanding by the Christian faith is as astounding. I have a hard time understanding how you can say that you follow the faith when you’ve never even read your teachings all the way through. Especially considering your teachings in comparison too many religions is very short.

I went to a private Christian school 👋. Church multiple times a week, prayer multiple times a day. Baptized. Youth group, the whole package..... and now I'm an Atheist 🤷♀️.
