My 5y/o has ASD & speech delay & can’t functionally talk but still interrupts his ADHD brother and the car ride always is “STOP TALKING IM TALKING” and “AHHH *insert quickest gestalt he can think of*” for 15 minutes on our way home 😂😅🥲 and then the dishes at the end of the day just take me out completely 😂 I feel youuuuu

My child is ASD with adhd. Pickup is typically a meltdown or telling me what was upsetting throughout the day. If I go to ask anything I can’t be interrupting a slow pause.

This is my life everyday. So I said silent car ride music only. Then AuAdHD child will ask am I settled. She talks fast. then autism child puts everything he wants to tell me on his tablet and hits the button. Everyone is heard my brain is still fried.

Yep. Bring child A a snack? I mean, obviously should bring both of them a snack but specifically it would be targeted towards child A. if their medicine is wearing off they probably are hungry too. It might distract them enough to let B talk.
