No tablets maybe when they are older. No phone til older. I try very hard to not be on my phone. We do tv various small spirts through out the day. But I dont judge whatever anyone wants to do.

Yes to this!! My son learns a lot from educational shows.. but does not get to change things and has no idea how to run the tv at 5

I was so strict when my kids were younger. Unfortunately the world around us has accepted devices and it's bad.. and as teenagers, it's much harder to control.

I heard someone say that if we want screen free kids we need screen free parents. We could all use limits for sure and kids will not limit themselves. 👍

my daughter was born in 1998 and I controlled screen time. Even now as a adult she doesn’t go on her phone a lot

My 16 year old is still a “can I go play with my friends?” He had controlled screen time and while he has a phone, I don’t think he’s on it too much. I’m team you. I watched my 16 year old baby boy build a sand castle last week instead of playing on his phone while we were on vacation. Controlled screen time is so important!
