i feel this I'm about to be 42 and don't feel any different than I did at 22. The only thing thats changed is now I'm somehow responsible for children as an adult child.

let's try this thing again. 42. I lived yolo because I had a weird thing it wouldn't be this long. but yet. im here. gratefully unprepared for adulthood. oh. I still have bills?? though my once in a generation event would end that for me

I just turned 40 and I refuse to grow up. Tbh, it doesn’t feel different from 35, but I will say I did feel my last fck leave a few days after my birthday. Like, I thought I finally didn’t care what people thought halfway through my 30’s, but I think I was still holding onto some self-esteem issues. Not anymore! Lol

Also I feel like being 30-35 is just a weird, transitional point in a lot of people’s lives. In a similar way that being a teenager is a weird transitional point for most people. It’s a weird age range to be in and it will be for everybody

we can't afford to grow up. nobody is willing to pay us enough. so we may as well watch 90s nicktoons, play video games, and make constant jokes to cope with the anxiety of all of it.

idk who you're talking about, but I'm 41 and I'm an adult but also I'm like not a grown up. I'm ok with that. I've got my weird little trinkets and hobbies and dumb stuff and I don't care. I still pay my bills and go to the doctor, so whatever.
