My mom wouldn’t speak to me for days and weeks at a time. I don’t stand for these kind of mind games anymore. If someone can’t communicate properly and in an adult manner with me, I cut them off. I’m not about to do this shit all over again.

i do that sometimes when my bf does something that hurts me. he knows he is in the wrong, but he always gaslights me, rarely apologizes, and I'm so burnt up with explaining. I'm just hurt and tired. I guess we are a match, both making mistakes

My emotionally mature mom did this to me on and off my entire life. Been no contact 3 years now. I’m 51 and she’s 68. I 100% hate her. Hate. She knows what’s she did. I finally got strong enough to punish her back. Only it might be forever. I did all I could.
