Mine never snored. Just a loud breather. And he needed his out. It changed him 100000% for the better. Sleep, mood, eating. Doesn’t get sick half of what he use too.

My son didn’t sleep and was a terrible eater. He did snore and breathe very heavy, we just got his tonsils, adenoids, and turbinates removed and he sleeps and eats WAY better. We knew the sleep would improve but the eating was a surprise!

Brittany|SAHM :
so we had the same issue with our oldest, got both removed and it helped him a lot just to be able to breathe better but unfortunately it didn't help us with his sleep. you could take her in to get looked at and see what they think. I hope you find a solution as I'm on the hunt for one myself

My daughter is 4 and has done this since she could walk. She’ll wake up several times and is thirsty or hungry. Had her checked out by ent and he said tonsils and adenoids were fine but pediatrician also wanted to make sure she didn’t have diabetes. Everything was normal. Not sure why she wakes up so much still.

My son always snored/ woke up multiple times during the night and when I noticed him gasping in his sleep, I went to his pediatrician and we got a sleep study done. He had severe sleep apnea and need his tonsils and adenoids removed because they were blocking his airway when he slept. The gasping started when he was 3 and he had his tonsils removed when he was 4. It was about an 8 month process with the waitlists, but it has overall improved his sleep! He still wakes up 2-3 times a night and we just had a repeat sleep study and were told his sleep apnea is now moderate, next step may be a jaw expander. When he wakes up, he’s never really up and talking and he easily goes back to sleep when tucked back in. Definitely a conversation to have with your pediatrician, it sounds like what you guys are going through may be a little different!

I knew my son had ear infections when he wouldn’t eat during the day. It may not be her tonsils it could be her ears and she doesn’t have any other sign. I would recommend taking her to an pediatrician ENT to look at everything

my daughter didn't snore she just breathe really heavy and she would wake up every night she did not sleep very good at all when she was a newborn she slept good but around age 3 she did not sleep very good so we got her tonsils and adenoids taken out because her tonsils were very enlarged girl she sleeps through the night we got her tonsils out when she was 5 she's 6 now and she sleeps through the night and she also had really bad night terrors before we got her tonsils out I would take your daughter in just to check.

My daughter has had both taken out at different times, but she got a sleep study done first because she has asthma. Her pediatrician should be able to see if either are enlarged & then can refer you to a sleep Dr, or ENT

She was 4. She sounded like a 70 y/o man who smoked 2 packs a day. I recorded her sleeping and took her to the doc. She listened to the recording for 2.5 seconds and scheduled her surgery. It took us a while to get used to her not snoring bc I thought she wasn’t breathing haha she was so quiet.
