just because he wasn't aggressive does not mitigate the situation...he may have acted calm, but i think that was a ploy...he had a weapon drawn on the cahier, therefore he was in control...this could have easily resulted in a tragedy if the cashier didn't keep his cool and complied...if his skin color was other than, I doubt they would caption this as the most polite roberry in the world cause I've seen other people rob businesses with no violence and without weapons...so, what makes this the most polite roberry when someone drew his weapon on you? is it the thing he said? what about the thing he did? the fact that he put someone's life in jeopardy just for 300 dollars?
