I know I haven’t been able to share much lately - we’ve been completely immersed in evaluations, therapy, appointments, and resources on top of our already full schedules. But today, I want to pause and give an update. After weeks of praying, worrying, and working with every decision focused on the best interest of our foster children, we can share that our legal systems have made choices that keep them safe, and their stability with us will remain for the time being. 🙏 In the last six weeks, they’ve received nearly every resource you can imagine - nutrition, medical care, therapy, and the chance to be included and loved within our community. We are deeply grateful to report that their biological family has expressed their wish for the children to remain in our custody until they are able to receive the support and rehabilitation they need for reunification. Although we don’t know how long or what tomorrow holds, our spirits were lifted today feeling the backing of their advocates and their bio family. We know that the best is yet to come, and so much progress is being made while things continue to work together for these precious babies. We believe this restorative path forward will one day be an amazing testimony for their future. To those who have shown up, prayed, supported, and walked this journey with us, thank you.
