The Cambodian side reported to the 13 foreign military representatives that, on the morning of July 29, 2025, when the ceasefire was officially in place, Cambodian soldiers approached Thai troops to shake hands. But on their way back, Thai soldiers suddenly raised their weapons and captured the Cambodian troops on the spot. Cambodia’s BM-21 Grad can only fire up to about 20–40 km • The 7-Eleven store is located over 100 km from the border • Therefore, the BM-21 definitely cannot reach it • If such a strike happened, it must have been from a longer-range system like HIMARS or SS-21 • Cambodia is not known to possess such weapons currently
