It’s hard yet it’s subjective, i guess those with painful memories would prefer to have new memories and for sure eliminate the old ones, however for those who have good memories, will depend on their mindsets, if they have fixed mindset they will hold on to the old memories, while those with growth mindset will be flexible to build new memories as they had old ones, and that’s totally ok and doesn’t mean they hate their old ones, but they are open to have new memories. And for sure that’s my own opinion, any other opinions are most welcome
