Our machine shop of 40yrs has no work now & all the shops around us have no work due to all this uncertainty & price hikes for materials & components. Our customer is a massive company & has stopped buying cause they are paying tariffs instead. Look outside yourself

Many companies are waiting for clarity on where the tariffs will land prior to adjusting pricing. It has continued to be a moving target.

150 Billion in tariff revenue??? This administration just throws number out there so my first instinct is to question that. Even if it is true, what is the number compared to the tariff income from 1H 24??

Yes, there is a noticeable trend of companies shifting manufacturing operations back to the United States.

It seems like the companies are eating lots of these tariffs right now, but they won’t forever. We are the frog in the pot right now and they’re turning up the heat. I hope you’re right because I hope prices stay low, but I have a feeling there’s an I told you so coming in your future.

Who paid for them? Eventually the company’s paying the tariff can’t sustain especially small businesses. Are you telling me that china, Canada or whatever country gives us a check to sell their goods in America? Where does the money come from? Lol have car prices gone up? Those were among the first tariffs and we feel that cost. Where exactly are you getting your data from?

Really?….. Yes — mounting evidence clearly shows that U.S. tariffs are driving up costs for consumers and businesses.

📈 How Tariffs Are Raising Prices
1. Direct Effects on Consumer Prices
• A Yale Budget Lab model finds that all 2025 U.S. tariffs to date have driven short-term consumer prices higher by 2.3%, representing a loss of $3,800 per household in 2024 dollars

Jillian, you’re wrong 😅. You’re simply wrong. We ARE paying the tariffs. I paid $700 tariff on my CNC’d parts from China. That’s literally a tax on the parts America charges 12x to build. I paid the $700 extra because of the tariff. It was literally labeled “tariff” from US Customs. So you’re wrong. You’re clearly not okay with being wrong, that’s why you look defeated. Because narcissists normally won’t admit they are wrong, they let it eat them from the inside. And you’re screaming for help. I can see it.

OK, I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt explain to me when tears are paid by the person importing goods we’re buying the importing goods here will not pass that cost on to us. Explain to me. I understand that if they go 50% at the border doesn’t mean they’re gonna go 50% here. It could be a 10% or 20% increase because of the cost from wholesale to retail but explain to me how it’s not going to cost us more. That’s where I’m lost if you wanna explain it to me and I’m legitimately asking
