Controversial opinion: Natlan isn’t the problem. The community is. Natlan feels detached from the rest of the game because it’s supposed to. It’s even explained in game that their laylines aren’t even connected to the rest of teyvat. Xilonen is a beautiful leopard lady and each character is super unique to their respective tribes.

Natlan is NOT the problem, it's genshin as a whole 😭 don't talk like we didn't had the same problem with Sumeru. Representation in all nations were awful, designs were ALWAYS sxualized, many lore parts were poorly written before Natlan and futuristic tech was always a thing in genshin (specially in Fontaine). People are just hating on Natlan bc everyone is just like you did with Sumeru when it first came and now everyone loves Sumeru, yall are like pokemon fans 😭

i think the reason i didn’t like natlan was how it was kind of childish and weirdly modern? it would have been SO MUCH cooler if they had leaned into south american/african rep and made cool cultural and mythological connections… but they didn’t ☹️☹️
