if a farmer walks into any hospital by choice hes already about dead and definitely isn’t going to live to see a hospital hundreds of miles away

Same is true for lawyers. In a small town you get to do WAY more than you would in a large city. Especially if you are a prosecutor. It’s like, “ 1st year practicing? Would you like to handle a violent crime?”

so I actually lived in one of these towns and doctor's were brought in from major surrounding cities on a rotating shift since obviously there's no selection to choose from in a town of 1500 people.

My grandmother was a country doctor in the 50s 60s. She did a lot of house calls too. I helped her deliver a baby when I was 10. She did a lot of social work, gathered food, and our church quilting circles made quilts for new babies and elderly. She was so loved. Even people people way deep in the mountains came to her funeral. I miss those times and all I learned.

Country Doctors.......The last real doctors in America. "Jack of all trades, master of none. But a master of none is still better than a master of ONE."

No offense but I’m voting for the goat. He at least takes the office seriously enough to spend his time golfing like a real politician

I wish this was an exaggeration, but I did live in a town so small that our EMT fireman and police officer was the same dude he also was the guy who did all the weekend cookouts we called him Bob

My great grandma was a pharmacist in Utah. Sometimes she was the only medical help available.
