They literally explain why he missed the bomb in the later scene lol “he doesn’t save” clearly ain’t watch. There’s also something called plot points in movies where certain things NEED to happen in order for the story to progress. Same way the new Superman didn’t see or hear the engineer near the fortress of solitude in the beginning even though he has super hearing and eyesight and she’s a black dot in a sea of white yelling “we’ve found it” 🤣
