Mine did that. While she was at the vet getting insemination, they asked if they could use her as a teaser mare. Then they told me she didn't care two craps about the stallions but walked into the mare barn and started winking at everyone 😂

in wild bands it's been recorded that sometimes mares can become the "stallion" of a herd, and lead them like one for a period of time (even mounting!) if they believe the selection near them is lacking.
