Human hospitals are even more expensive but we don’t get denied care. Vet clinics can’t just wait for people to pay they have employees and other pets to take care of. Getting pet insurance would have helped this owner and this pet in an accident. Be prepared for anything and get pet insurance!

Nope, her delivery was awful. I’ve been to this clinic in my city before and they were kinder and offered options. I was the one who had to bring up putting down for my friend and they didn’t even want to think about it. She’s weird, and I’m glad you took your baby somewhere else and got help

as a vet tech, I have to give this vet props for her communication skills- these conversations are so difficult to have, and she was direct, which is what a lot of owners need. I can see in their faces how much she and the tech care. if you're able to raise enough for surgery- please give a happy update to this team, cases like this really affect us, even if we dont show it in the moment and ER staff don't always get to know when there is a happy outcome. ❤️I am so sorry this happened to you and your kitty, I hope he pulls through and the parents of the child are held financially responsible. sending love to you both
