As a packaging technologist, I have to disagree. All food grade packaging undergoes migration testing. This is to determine what and how much leaks out of a packaging material during contact with food. Anything labeled microwave safe (in the EU at least) will have been tested to ensure it doesn't leak anywhere near a dangerous amount of chemicals into the food during use.
That said: If it's not specifically labeled as microwave safe, don't put it in the damn microwave!

its not oven.. do people even know how microwave works? it makes watermolecules vibrate wich then heats the food. its not vibrating the plastic if its microwave safe then its safe.

While chemicals are released when microwaving food grade plastics, it is not sufficient enough to cause any health risk!

Microwaving is the worst you could do to your food and health. My roommate and I microwaved food 2X/day for 6 months and we were at the lowest energy and got sick all the time. After someone told us to stop microwaving all the time, we felt so much better!

If that’s the case, should never use plastic to reheat any food or to cook food.

microwave safe plastic are not to be heated more than 2mins in the microwave at medium temp. Otherwise it will release cancerous toxins from melting.

I use the plastic trays from takeaway with cling film over to reheat meals and backed beans. Also I have a microwave stream container I sometimes use. Maybe I’ll invest in glass storage containers
