This is only representative of cptsd from abuse, which is the most common cause, but CPTSD can also be caused by undergoing lengthy and dreadful medical treatment (chemotherapy) and its a totally different beast with totally different fears

reminder, that C-PTSD can be caused from anything prolonged, not just familial issues or toxic relationships, yes those are the main one but stuff like prolonged bullying can cause it as well (I know because I am diagnosed C-PTSD and it's caused by bullying)

My cat literally has PTSD and anxiety. She was found outside alone in the woods at 7 weeks. She’s been terrified of the world since then 😭
