I see what you’re saying but I do disagree with u a bit, but what ur saying does make sense :) For example, when u say “the watermelon in ur bio does nothing” or “do something for Palestine ”, this can be very harmful. When other people see that there are genuinely people who put Palestine in their bio, even if it’s just some chronically online middle schooler who doesn’t care that much, or maybe it’s the most dedicated person, it does good. That IS an impact. I do think people are incredibly egotistical, but this is not new. This has been since the internet was alive, people have felt powerful behind the screen. But boycotting for Palestine is good, putting a watermelon in ur bio is good, commenting support is good, donating even 5 dollars is good. All of it, even if it’s small, is impactful, and insinuating otherwise can be incredibly harmful.
