@itsbartley_: When you receive good advice from others (usually those close you) whose opinion you hold in high regard, you need to first acknowledge its coming from an ‘outsider’ looking into your breakthrough journey. Many times you’ll get tempting advice for on of two things: 1. Relieving the pain you’re in or 2. Amplifying the mini-successes you’ve had during your difficult season. Here’s what you do when you come across these moments: 1. Acknowledge their advice, thank them for chiming in and tell them you will take into consideration (because you will). 2. Go to God for discernment!! Pray. You may even need to pray like never before. Seek His wisdom because He may very well tell you that they are right and He used them to speak to you on what to do next. 3. Once you receive clarity, act on it immediately. Do not overthink it. If God says ‘No, stay on the path’, then stay and don’t look back. If He’s says ‘Yes, follow their sound advice’ then follow it and don’t second-guess. The beauty of this happening at the tail end of your breakthrough is that you would have hopefully now been reformed in character and humbled to seek God first and to follow His wisdom, whether it is coming from Him directly or from a trusted friend or family member or even a random stranger. #ChristianTikTok #Breakthrough #BeOnAssignment #90DayClarity
