And it saves on lightbulbs. -I’ve started saying “it’s been in the family” instead of “I found it on the curb” -I’ve replaced ‘broke’ with ‘between fortunes’ -I call my unpaid bills “ephemera.”They give the desk a certain je ne sais quoi. -I quote the Mitford sisters instead of reading self-help. And I thought MY life was messy… -I decided that it’s not a she-shed. It’s a pavilion de chasse.
