He disabled the GoFundMe. He didn't do it for any ill intentions. But get a second opinion just in case given the first vet recommended surgery. Also get all the Xray he may need.

why was the First Lady you went to so certain it needed surgery and if the cat wasn’t able to get it they would suggest putting it down? just for this vet to say the split in the cats mouth will heal naturally and just fine? that’s why it’s important to always get second opinions cause imagine if he would’ve just put it down right then and there

Regardless if he disabled the go fund me, do u guys realize how many follow up appointments this cats gonna have to go threw probably at +$200-300 everytime plus any problems that arise after the cat starts healing and the special care the cats gonna need at home it’s gonna be $1000s of dollars by the time this is all said and done…he did the right thing and realized all the life this cat still has to live and it’s crazy how a animals value of life is determined by how much money you have it’s sad

I KNEW that mother vet would tell you this! I’m so glad you went to another vet! I’ve worked as a vet tech and this, like she said, normally heals on its own. I’m so glad you didn’t listen to the other one and put him to sleep

vet bills in general are expensive. use the gofundme money for that even if he doesn’t end up getting surgery. I’m sure all these appts are a lot. I recently had to take my cat to urgent care n it cost 1.5k :/ got lucky that my brother has a credit card w that much on it
