Im no racing driver, but a passenger will never be prepared the same way as a driver Have seen how people being passengers being thrown all around over mountain roads, but the driver was planted Have tried being passenger and im nevef as prepared as if i was the driver on those same roads But there is probably still a big difference between F1 driver and more normal people in neck strenght, but yeah, passenger, not as prepared no matter what

F1 neck strength is one thing, but the driver also knows when to brace because its them controlling the brakes.

Difference is that as a passenger you don’t know the exact timing of car braking, accel, steer etc so i dont think anyone but rally drivers assistants can hold their head right on races.
