I didn't like it, we would have a boiled egg with soldiers or porridge with lots of sugar on top. then later, corn flakes, rice crispys, shredded wheat, wheatabix and Alpine but Alpine was expensive so we didn't have that often

Brings back memories. Sure they brought out a chocolate version too. The original tastes ok if I remember right but we probably fired a load of sugar in it. The commercial though, walking to school, no school runs then, I’d have been told to “beat it” if I had asked. Which I wouldn’t have as it was unheard of.
